This video is amazing. Not only because of my undying love for the Nissan s-chassis, but because it is stripped of corporate "look what i can do-ness" that has seemed to pop up in our import car community. this video has no huge pile of money dumped into it, no sponsors, no pro driver, and no pro videographer either. its a great grass roots effort put forth and is very artistic and very well executed. the car is breath taking as well. its nice to see a video made simply to show how vehicles and film can be fused together to make something that rivals paint on canvas or stone chisled by hands with a special touch.

God Bless Chevy

Ive been wanting an rb swap since i first heard one rip past me at rev limiter in person in New Jersey. Inline 6 motors in general are a thing of beauty. I think there are certain types of motor layouts that sound better than others. The inline 6, the boxer 4, and of course the v8.
Lately I've been looking at what it takes to install an LS1 into an s-chassis. I found a company that anyone should check out if they are interested at all. At www.sikky.com, they make a kit that comes with just about anything needed to install this motor into a 240/Silvia. It includes custom/sweet ass lookin mounts, a custom drive shaft, and most importantly a custom and hand made oil pan that allows you to leave your stock 240 crossmember un-molested and not hacked in half like some other kits require. It just seems like the most ideal swap even if your steering shaft is tightly squoozed between the custom exhaust headers. Nay sayers state that a heavy v8 is a disgrace in a 240, stating it grately throws off the weight distribution and balance. Ive read on various forums from people that have done the swap stating the motor actually weighs 80lbs less than the stock 240's KA24de! People need to remember that the LS series of v8 are the aluminum replacements to the very reliable and widely used iron blocked LT motors.

Enough rant, enjoy:
That exhaust note sounds better than any musician could play.

Random awesome quote

Hell, my dad's WRX has 120k of abuse and it is still running the original brake pads & rotors (still have some life left). That, and Subarus are made from adamantium and are individually blessed and baptized in Mobil 1 by the gods of speed."

i know im a crazy car nerd, but this is just damn funny.....fuckin evo's.

Subie > Evo

Just watch this bit of video from 0-60 Magazine. Ken Block is dope sauce and so is his car. I watched a show a while back on the prep of the car and it was intense.  The offset of the wheels on this car is also intense. Im done writing, just watch and enjoy...

Why didn't I think of it first?...

pretty freakin sweet if i do say so myself. The vg is a really nice motor, fun because of the torquey powerband, and really really reliable.
Driving around in J Fresh's Z car is a lot of fun. I've always concidered finding a cressida project for a 1jz 5speed swap,
but this is a hella awesome idea. I like where Grip Gambler's head is at. I want to see more vids tho.

Wee Hours

Cant sleep.... im completely tired and worn out, but i have the urge to just stay up and complete random tasks at the moment.  That and the fact that im watching vh1 which at this hour happens to be "Palladia" instead of just vh1.  I watched this Palladia channel at my parents house in Jersey all the time over summer and Christmas. I love the channel.  They have the freshest music and usually very artsy music vids too. I've asked a homeboy of mine for his assistance in making a logo, but again im in the mood to accomplish random tasks.  So, i introduce our cheesy little logo, the first rough interpretation of what im looking for.  Double D and my old lady gave me some great ideas and i honestly love repping the colors of my UCA Bears since we are in Central Arkansas, so thats how we arrived at this very rough, very rediculous looking logo. Im gonna leave it up to you to either enjoy, or hate on it.

I want to thank Risky Devil in advance for putting this vid up as im going to steal it and try to post it up on here.  I think its sexy as hell.  The sr sounds baller and the driver basically doesnt kiss the wall, but makes out with it instead.

Go to www.riskydevil.com if you are EVER bored. The site is addicting and always has sick phots from ill photography posted of their rides. When i grow up, ill be a member of Risky, or when Natural Selection grows up, it will be the ugly step brother of Risky that reps Central Arkansas and C-Way.

Doing work at Hat's Casa...

A sexy day here in C way turned into a sexy night.  Fresh and I had the day off and headed over to Hat's house and we worked on the wagons for a while.  Fresh got a sleepy eye mod and a new coat blackness on his rear bumper.  I just took some shots of my already installed 12000k Apexcone HID kit and fogs on my zenki.  Hat decided to buff out the cloudiness on his lowered Accord's headlights and give the grille a fresh look, sorry no pics of that so you're beat! All in all, a good night with lots of little things getting accomplished.
If my picture posts look amateur its because they are.  Again, im as new to this blogging as Obama is to being president. We'll both get the hang of what we're doing so chill. Im looking to get a logo made finally for this club.  Something thats as fresh as RiskyDevil's.  Im not gonna lie, they are an inspiration to me.  The Chi Town region has a ballin drift/JDM scene and I wish we could get something close to that here in Central Arkansas.  Coming from NJ, we had meets at least once a month, but people down here would rather have a Z71 chevy than an s13 or an FD.  Its funny how i bought my car for a steal from Memphica (memphis) but the price of a used 4x4 here is outrageously inflated for no reason other than a high school boy will be more popular if his parents buy him a Z71. I love Arkansas and I will rep it for a minute and a half, but sometimes things are way different than im used to and I have to take a step back, re-evaluate my thinking, and adjust.

S L O W start...

im trying to start this damn car club and it seems like i have some friends interested in it, my brother is stoked, but besides that, its a long tough road it seems to Natural Selection being a fun organization. I want it to be "Kick Awesome" like our local hero Kris Allen, but i also want to have a car club that can help people in some fashion. i got the 240 lookin fine as hell yesterday and my brother's 300 got a fresh paint coat on his bumper last night and it looks fresh as hell. its amazing how little things make a big difference. the 240 really needs a new exhaust but i need to save money hard core. It just hard out here for a pimp...

First Blog

So im new to this blogging game... I go to school, love on my old lady, chill with my dog, and wrench on my car. This is my first blog and hopefully it will blossom into something more than just a simple arrangement of letters. Sometime in the near future. For now, work at Office Depot.
